BROOKLYN OUTDOOR FILM FESTIVAL

Website concept developed for 'Watch It Outside Events Co' to publicize the annual Brooklyn Film Festival held in Brooklyn Bridge Park every August.

The client instructed me that they wanted to create an event which appeals to an audience of all agens, and so they wnt their online presence to do the same and so I went ahead and designed a solution which I felt met these requirements. The website contains all relevant information potential attendees could need - scheduling, location, contact details, news updates - as well as the ability to reserve tickets for the shows.

ABADDON'S INFERNO

A turn-based online board game developed in pure JavaScript in which two players move aroud the board, one player trying to escape the dungeon and the other trying to stop said escape by any means necessary.

Whilst moving around the board, the players are trying to avoid hidden traps whilst collecting power-ups and potions to strenghthen their attack/weaken their enemy. The game leads up to an epic final battle when the players' paths eventually cross (where the collected potions and powerups come into play), during which the players take turns to attack/defend until one is vanquished and the other victorious

A restaurant review site built in React.js utilising the GoogleMaps API to provide users geolocation-based reveiews of restaurants in their area

Results in users' direct vicinity or in a city or area specified via a searchbar are dynamically pulled from the GoogleMaps API and displayed on the map interface. Basic restaurant details as well as an average rating and the most recent reveiw are displayed in card format on the map side bar and then additional reviews can be viewed and added in a separate section of the page, below the map.

SHAKESPEAREAN QUOTE GENERATOR

A comical quote generator built using JavaScript and Jquery which generates compliments or insults in the Shakespearean vernacular, with hilarious results.

Users can select either an insult or a compliment and it will be randomly generated and displayed on demand. It is also possible to batch-generate insults or compliments, up to five at a time.

SPOTIFY TOP TRACKS WEB APP

A web app which utilises the Spotify API to display your top artists and songs based on your listening habits

After completion of the OAuth2 authorisation process, the app connects to your spotify account and returns your listening information. This info is then displayed on an interface which mirrors that of Spotify itself - divided into an upper scrolling plane containing your top artists and a lower information grid containing your top tracks.

A Wordpress site created to showcase luxury properties for rent and for sale offered by 'Chalets and Caviar', an estate agency in Colorado

The breif was to create a clear and uncluttered design whcih exudes luxury. The site displays a number of their rental and sale properties currently available and provides potential clients with all the information they need to make enquiries.
